Walsh’s work draws upon a range of cultural artefacts - museology, science, esothericism, and popular culture - to compose a subjective literacy that allows for highly individualised readings of time, memory, objecthood, the uncanny at play in the museum, and the workings of fictional narratives.
Most recently he has exhibited in the Irish Museum of Modern Art (Dublin), Crawford City Gallery (Cork), and João Cocteau (Berlin); created an online commision for Light & Wire Gallery (Los Angeles), and co-curated the exhibition The Reading Room at Grand Union (Birmingham). Originally from Ireland, he is currently based in Berlin.
