Ciarán Walsh was born in Carlow, Ireland (1980) and received an MA in 'Art in the Contemporary World' from the National College of Art and Design, Dublin. Since 2003 he has exhibited at various galleries and off-site projects in Ireland (including Mothers Tankstation, FOUR, and Visualise Carlow), as well as curated the temporary public art projects Hedgeschool (2006) and Sweet Futures (2007). He has contributed to several art-related publications, and self-publishes the based Berlin art-zine Travelogue. He is currently based between Germany and Ireland.
