Issue 3: The Last Travelogue of Joseph M., represents a break from previous issues of Travelogue, as it gives its pages over to only one contributor, and is focused on a fictional work. Artist Stephen Brandes' darkly humorous anti-narrative unfolds in a series of texts, drawings, doctored photographs and collages; recounting for us episodes in the life of Joseph M., as he falls from the tallest building in Lower Saxony. What is revealed during his descent, is a portrait not just of a character involved in a shady but undivulged corporate existence - but of a Europe on the brink of instability.
